Interface Agent

An interface agent (also known as an interface treatment agent) is an environmentally friendly building material made from a composite of high molecular weight polymers and specialized materials (such as cement and fillers). It is primarily used for substrate surface treatment. Its core function is to enhance the adhesion between new and existing materials through bidirectional penetration and bonding, creating a radial chain anchoring effect that permanently and firmly bonds the base layer to subsequent construction materials (such as mortar, tiles, and insulation boards). This product can replace traditional roughening processes, effectively resolving problems such as hollowing, shedding, and cracking caused by smooth or highly absorbent substrates.

1. Bidirectional Penetration Bonding: Through physical and chemical reactions, it penetrates deep into the substrate pores, forming a mechanical bond and significantly improving bond strength (shear bond strength ≥ 0.7 MPa after 7 days, ≥ 1.1 MPa after 14 days).
2. Weather Resistance and Durability: Freeze-thaw, water-resistant, and aging-resistant, it can withstand temperatures ranging from -30°C to 100°C, with a service life of over 10 years.
3. Environmental Performance: It is non-toxic, odorless, and pollution-free, meeting indoor and outdoor environmental standards, and has minimal odor during application.
4. Convenient Application: It can be applied by roller, spray, or roughening, and can be applied in thin layers (1-2 mm thick). A usage of approximately 1-2 kg/m² reduces labor intensity and costs.
5. Compatible with Complex Substrates: It can directly treat porous, highly absorbent lightweight bricks, old ceramic tiles, and other surfaces without the need for additional roughening.
