Lime Rock Paint

Yongrong Limestone (micro-ceramic clay) is a new type of inorganic-organic composite decorative material. It is made from natural clay and minerals as a base material, with a high proportion of organic polymer resin (over 40%) added. It is a water-based, thick coating with a ceramic-like texture. Its core component is a combination of micron-sized clay particles and environmentally friendly resin. The thickness is typically 2-4mm, and it can be directly applied to various surfaces such as ceramic tiles and cement substrates to form a seamless decorative layer.

II. Product Features

1. Environmentally friendly : water-based formula, VOC content ≤80g/L (compliant with GB 18582-2020 standard), no formaldehyde release, made from natural clay and bio-based resin, recyclable, meeting green building material requirements.

2. Physical properties : Hardness: Mohs hardness 5-6, superior to ordinary latex paint (hardness 2-3), can withstand daily friction; Water resistance: IPX5 waterproof rating (resistant to low-pressure water spray), suitable for damp areas such as bathrooms and kitchens; Weather resistance: Resistant to ultraviolet radiation, resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, with a service life of 8-10 years.

3. Decorative characteristics : Surface roughness Ra value <0.5, presenting a polished ceramic texture; colors are mainly warm tones (ivory white, light terracotta brown, etc.). Textures can be customized, achieving matte, satin, and other effects through construction techniques, suitable for wabi-sabi, modern minimalist, and other design styles. V. Latest National Standards

VI. Theoretical Usage

· Walls/Floors: 1.5-2.5 kg/m² (single layer thickness 1.5-2 mm)

· Special textures: 3-4 kg/m² (requires multiple layers for embossed effects)

Standard Color Scheme: Offers 30+ standard color options, including classic shades such as ivory white, light gray, autumn green, and Ru kiln. Customization services are available, and color matching with color cards is supported. Color difference is controlled within ΔE≤2 (color sample required).

Environmental requirements: Store in a cool, dry place between 5-35℃, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperatures (>40℃ may cause clumping). Shelf life: 12 months unopened; once opened, use within 3 months.

X. Requirements for the base layer of the construction site

1. Substrate flatness: deviation < 2mm/2m (measured with a 2m straightedge), mortar leveling required. Strength: substrate compressive strength ≥ 25MPa, no hollow areas or powdering. Moisture content: ≤ 6% (measured with a hygrometer), newly poured concrete requires 28 days of curing.

2. Special treatment for old tile substrates: Seal with epoxy primer, then lay fiberglass mesh to enhance adhesion. For damp areas: Apply two coats of rigid waterproofing first, then level with cement-based self-leveling compound.

XI. Construction Guidelines

1. Primer : Matching sealing primer (0.1kg/㎡) to improve adhesion to the substrate.

2. Intermediate coat : Permafrost limestone main layer (2-3mm thick), applied in 2 coats, with an interval of 6-8 hours between each coat.

3. Topcoat : Water-based clear topcoat (0.2 kg/m²), enhancing stain resistance and gloss.

XII. Construction Precautions

1. Environmental conditions : Construction temperature 8-35℃, humidity ≤80%, avoid working in rainy weather.

2. Tool requirements : Use a stainless steel trowel (0.3mm thick) and a short-pile roller to avoid dripping.

3. Finished product protection : Cover with a dustproof cloth before drying to prevent dust contamination.

XIII. Safety Precautions

1. Protective measures : Construction workers must wear dust masks and latex gloves to avoid skin contact.

2. Fire prevention requirements : Keep away from fire sources; open flames are prohibited in storage areas.

3. Waste disposal : Empty containers must be collected and recycled; remaining materials must not be poured down the drain.
